Camera-Free Diving
One sentence from every dive
Leave the camera on the boat. Underwater, just look. Back at the surface, write one thing you saw in a single sentence, and it becomes a card in the Rubelis design that you can share.

How it works
Leave the camera on the boat
Camera, action cam and phone stay on the boat. The dive is made as usual, within your certification level and local rules.
Just look
Do not hurry. Pause, observe, notice. At the safety stop, choose the strongest moment of the dive.
Write one sentence
At the surface, write that moment in your logbook in a single sentence. Add the dive site and the date.
Share your card
Your sentence becomes a Rubelis card in story and square formats. Download it, share it, and if you like, let it appear on the wall.
Theme of the month
Each month has a theme. It is optional, but cards written for the monthly theme earn badges, and the strongest sentences are featured at the end of the month.
The wall
Sentences divers have chosen to share. Every card is read by Rubelis before it is published.
Featured
The first sentences will appear here after the first dives. The first card could be yours.

The invitation chain
Every member has their own invitation link. Send it to your dive buddies; everyone who joins through it is added to your chain.
When three divers join through your invitation, you earn the Inviter badge. This is how Camera-Free Diving grows best: from one diver to the next, one boat to the next.

Camera-Free Dive Day
One day a year, divers around the world dive without cameras on the same day. Every sentence written that day earns the Camera-Free Dive Day badge.

Rules
- The only rule is safety. Every dive is made within your certification level, local regulations and standard safety procedures. This is not a race or a challenge; do not change your dive plan to write a sentence.
- Equipment carried by a dive guide for safety or scientific work is exempt.
- Your cards belong to you and are always private. If you allow a card on the wall, Rubelis publishes it after reading it. On the wall your name appears only as your first name and last initial, like "Ayşe G.".
- Cards you allow on the wall may also be shared on Rubelis social media accounts under the same name. You can withdraw permission or delete a card at any time.
- A sentence may not contain links, email addresses, phone numbers, advertising or wording that would offend others.
Questions
Does it cost anything?
No. Camera-Free Diving is free. You only need a Rubelis account; no course purchase is needed.
Do I need to be a Presence Diver?
No. Any certified diver can take part. Freediving and snorkelling count too; the idea is the same: no camera, just looking.
Can I create a card for every dive?
Yes. Your logbook is open all year. You can create up to 20 cards a day.
Who can see my card?
By default only you can see your card. If you allow it on the wall and Rubelis approves it, it appears on the site and on Rubelis social media accounts.
Why was my sentence not published on the wall?
The wall is published after Rubelis reads each card. Sentences that break the rules or do not describe a single moment of a dive are not published; the card is still yours to share.
How do I delete my account?
Write to [email protected]. Your account and all your cards are deleted.
